My thoughts…..

This week’s class was brilliant. I am amazed with the technology we have, in this case the SMARTBOARD. I’m just amazed with it that I couldn’t care less of things happening around the class. I am also happy with the way the class was handled that day. As we were introduced to the board before the day’s session, I doubted whether all of us would get the change to at least touch the board. But I was wrong. I feel that every one of us had the change. The introduction section carried out by En. Ahmad was well organized. It was like taking baby steps with a well – skilled father. I have to admit that I was just over – excited when I saw that the software was actually already in our computer and we could do somewhat the same thing by using the mouse instead of our fingers. So, while En. Ahmad was briefing us I had the change to do the same thing on the computer but of course by using the mouse. It was fun being able to do what was being taught step by step. And the best part was yet to come ...

Today I learn… I learnt things that I never thought I would ever do. Like blogging. I have read my friends blog on Friendster and I felt that it is just waste of time and I’ll never be usefully at doing it. But after doing it, I just am very excited. On of the reason for this is, I get to read my friends point of view on the same topic. It is interesting to know what they have to say. I also learnt that anything is possible with technology. The most important thing is interest. If you are interested everything is easy. At the beginning of the class I felt that by the end of it, I would be lost. But I was wrong. With the help of the lecturers and friends the tasks given to us seem to be doable. Even though everything was fast but with the guidance I got I was able to do it. However, I feel that I still need to speed up as I don’t to be left behind. Today I question… Today I had many questions. Will I be able to do this course? Since the first computer was made in the late fifties, the technology has developed extremely. Computer, which took the place of a living room, then are now being made now much bigger than credit cards! More and more areas are being taken over by the computer. The technology in computer has become so popular that even small business and homes began to own computers. Why such an immense popularity for computer? This is simply because the computer empowers the users to be efficient and fast. The computer can do routine operations thousands of times faster than if a person was to do it manually. I feel that I am not wrong to say that this single greatest invention has made us, humans heavily dependent on it. Humans depend on computer to carry out all kinds of jobs that were done manually before. In banking for example, computer allows for millions of transactions to be carried out involving large sums of money, which would otherwise require thousands of banks tellers. ah finally i did it ahhhhhhhhh this is just the beginning u will hv to wait for the feelings part for the inner thaughts part hehe so wait ah till i have settle down hopefully by tonigh... so till then hv fun
